The heating came on this morning so that’s one day less that I might have to freeze. I drove down to the shops and bought enough milk to last at least 5 days then sorted the end of month paperwork.

Both weather forecasts showed rain arriving at 11 o’clock so thought I’d better have my walk before lunch.

Last time I did this one (a circular from home) the bracken beyond the gate was green, high, very wet and overhanging the footpath. It was much easier walking today and the new boots felt good again. The view (what there is of it) is in the Rydal direction.
