Leaves Changing Colour

The Last Day of September. The Virginia Creeper in the garden is rapidly turning dark red and the leaves are falling onto the path. I tried to capture the leaves outside but it was starting to rain and it was difficult to find leaves which offered a nice composition. I found this group of leaves which were smaller and were only starting to change colour. As they were lighter I placed them on a walnut table which provided a dark, textured background. Rather than artificial light, I set the camera to a high ISO value, held the camera steady and hoped for the best!
