Sundial in the rain

It was dry all morning and in the early afternoon, but by the time we got out to walk to Inverleith the rain started. 15C and very calm, so not unpleasant. 

4 cygnets with the 2 adult swans on the pond; didn't stop for pictures since there was a family feeding them.  Back by the Water of Leith path; the section between the Rocheid path and Brandon Terrace is open again. 

"So passes life Alas how swift!" is the legend on the dial.
