Summer Meadow

As we walked down the lane this morning, we couldn't help but notice the vast amount of wild flowers that line the hedgerows and verges.

I'm sure there are more this year than previously but it maybe something to do with the lateness of spring that has made them all bloom together.

Beautiful pink, blue, yellow and white flowers and even the odd orange poppy were photographed but I chose these grasses waving in front of the field for my journal today.

Nature is a wonderful thing!
