Early start

Up early to walk the dogs at 5am so I could be in work by 6.
High tide was at 7:19 so needed to be ready to start the pump just after 6. We only abstract water for an hour on incoming spring tides when the weather has been reasonable for a few days prior to it so we don't get too much run off from the fields. Because we are situated on an estuary.
My line manager failed to get the pump working on Friday, so I inspected the various pipes yesterday and found the one furthest from the hatchery where we abstract from the sea was slightly loose. Went back wearing a harness for safety climbed down the ladder and tightened the junction. It was obviously the cause of the failed attempt as the piped primed and I got a full tank of 20000 litres into one of our underground tanks.
This magnificent yacht appeared overnight, they brought it in on the 8m high tide last night.
Spoke to the boatyard owner, they are just storing it over winter. It is so long I had to use panorama mode
