Tale Of Two Rocks

Today’s photo, on the right of it is St Anthony’s Head Lighthouse, known as Fraggle Rock due to its appearance in the opening sequence of the TV series of the same name.
Left centre in the photo is Black Rock, an isolated rock at the entrance of Falmouth Harbour. It roughly divides it into two channels, the deep eastern and the shallower western.

Black Rock has been the turning point during a couple of our Great River Race training rows. Once out past it and subject to the wind an open sea it can be daunting when contemplating the row back.

Today was a quiet day with an RNA Branch Meeting in the evening.
