Productive

A slow start but then very busy. The lawns were mowed which was a huge job as the grass was long and damp. It took me over 2 hours to mow the main lawns as it was a stop start effort like wading through thick mud whilst pushing a very heavy petrol fuelled lawnmower from the 1980s. I spent another hour raking the mess which was exhausting and I was so tired by that stage I had to ask for help otherwise the smaller top lawn wouldn’t get done for another month.

These look like usual apples but they are actually a batch of crab apples which will be made into crab apple jelly. Sadly a few were wrecked and rotting.

I’m thinking a herbal bath may be just what the doctor ordered!
