An important delivery

A call from Olly who is starting on our garden tomorrow to say that the digger would be delivered in about 10 minutes. This was about 6pm and I was making dinner.

We went to move the cars from the drive. Mine did as I expected, but B’s had a strop. I think that the handbrake was sticking, or something, I don’t know how automatics work. We managed to get it on to the road just in time. The driver had problems finding our place and I think that Olly forwarded my email with directions in the end.

The digger is now safely parked on the drive with my car blocking it in. It will be interesting to see if it will fit through the back gate ……..I don’t think so :0(

This was an event late in a very busy day. We went down to B& Q first thing thing get some filler and sealant. Home to do the next stage of the curtain pole fitting. R arrived just in time to help with the pole and curtain hanging. I then took over with the job of shortening them, whilst B & R continued with the admin stuff.

It is Sunday, but felt like Saturday as it was so busy down in the shopping complex. So different to the deserted town centre on Friday.

I finished my next Peter May book, Blow Back, pic in extras as a record. It is the second of the six Enzo books.
