Beautiful day for a walk

This morning we walked over the Bridle Path track. This track was used by the early settlers who arrived by ship in the port then walked over the hill to settle on the other side which was to become the city of Christchurch. The upper photo is looking back down the Heathcote Valley towards the city while the lower image looks over the port with Diamond Harbour in the background. It was a beautiful day for walking with a temperature of 22 degrees.
