Perfect

This sunset was the perfect end to a perfectly lovely weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday had highs of 71F (21.7C). The party at Ron's house yesterday was fun and surprisingly relaxing. It was a party to celebrate the university graduation of Ron's daughter; better later than never. Ron has become friends with a local professional country music singer and he set up his equipment on the deck and entertained us in the evening. He is a great singer and very funny too.  Ron & his wife and a few of Carly's friends danced, along with the little girls at the party; Ellie was happy there was a 3-year-old little girl to dance with. 

Ron did great, he seemed relaxed and happy. As you can imagine I was concerned for Ron so I am delighted. See last night's photo of Ron and his wife dancing with the little 3 yr old. 

Carly's friends planned to spend the night so they wouldn't have to drive home after drinking. We left before the serious drinking games started. Carly's brother had decided to not drink more than two beers and he told me today that he never realized how obnoxious drunk people could be...I am grateful because he is the one I worry about when he drinks too much. The kids had set up tents in the backyard surrounding the firepit area but today I heard that all the girls piled in Carly's bedroom to sleep and the boys crashed in the living room. The party ended with breakfast for everyone this morning.
