A good start to the day with Stewart McDonald’s office confirming my tour of Westminster in November, very impressive response.

A morning of chores, admin and shopping, and a trip to the library this afternoon. They have acquired at least 4 copies of Maggie O’Farrell’s The Marriage Portrait.

Back home via the otter pool and the Shaws Bridge; this mallard seemed as determined as me to spot them. We were out of luck, just a couple of brown rats scurrying in different directions across the path in front of me, one the size of a small rabbit.
