Keeping it together

The 'cord' ( or possibly rope?!) was being used to hold the gate to one of the school playing fields closed. The field is quite a walk from the school over the motorway bridge. I was out for a short lunchtime wander. Thanks to our host for the theme. 
Visit to the hospital to see my youngest after work. She is back in the ward for a few days while some assessments are done. She's not happy about it but has very little say. I'm crossing everything by the weekend she will be back in the bungalow.
