Some people.....

.....really like Halloween. 
Over the long weekend, 5 or 6 houses just round the corner have sprouted decorations. As early as October 2nd!.
In other news, I gave up on the Windows Boot Manager investogations, too techy for me. But even though it's a long weekend, the service shop was open.
Off I trotted as fast as I could caper, only to be told after much investigation that the external hard drive had a fault and needed to be backed up before formatting. And that should solve the issue.
I know, it's a boring Blip so thank you to anyone who made it this far.

Oh, and some good news, this coming weekend is Thanksgiving so that'll make 2 long weekends in a row.
See, there's always a silver lining.
