Carved out of wood

When I got home after work today it was such a lovely spring afternoon that I took a walk to the Woodland Park Store to buy some milk. On the way back I saw the carving attached to wire netting which is containing large stones to shore up a bank. A woman who was walking two little dogs on leads  paused to let me take my photo. And gave me a rather indulgent smile when I thanked her for doing so. 

People (in general) are nice to others.
