Barter Books

Well today did NOT go as expected! I took V and D to the station this morning to catch their train connection to Newcastle where they would get a transfer bus to the ferry port at South Sheilds before setting off on on their trans Europe holiday. Within 5 minutes of dropping them I got a call saying the train had been replaced by buses due to engineering works which would not get them to the ferry in time! So we ended up with a flying visit to SS :) They caught their ferry though so all is well. N and I stopped for a coffee and browse on our way home.
