Another collage

Because I saw so many lovely things. At the National Trust place just west of Bristol, called Tyntesfield. The perfect spot to meet my friend who lives in Portishead. We expected rain, and thought we’d be sitting in the cafe the whole time.  As it turned out there was a very fine rain which didn’t bother us, so we walked. Lots of great colours, with a really harvesty feel in the kitchen garden. Seen here : part of a huge yew tree,  very drippy fennel, lots of pumpkins, and a gorgeous dahlia (I think). 
In the afternoon a painter and decorator called in to discuss sorting out my house.  It’s been difficult to find one, so I was delighted to meet him.  He seems to think it can all be done, gradually and not all in one go - which is as I hoped.
