Eye contact

It’s become something of a tradition for us when in Playa del Inglės to visit Copenhagen by Hannibal, a Danish restaurant which offers an all-you-can-eat lunch on Sundays. It’s a smorgasbord sort of thing. It was as good as always today. The clientele is mostly Danish, though at this stage we have perhaps risen to the status of being honorary Danes. Henrik, the owner, gave us the usual warm welcome, along with a complimentary schnapps at the end of three meal.

Today was the warmest day so far,  mid-30s, we guessed, so we made our way back to our bungalow at a slower pace than usual. The rest of the day was spent quietly.
