Fabulous day!

We started the day with a great breakfast in the Bayview Hotel before setting off for Dunluce Castle. We have never been there, I nearly feel ashamed of myself, such amazing places within reach and we never go! The castle was impressive! 
Yesterday evening I saw a post on Facebook about a young couple who were getting married at Dunluce today - and we saw them!! The wedding was actually in a field across from the castle, their photos are going to be stunning! It was bright and breezy and the rain stayed away, perfect! 
We went to Portrush next, had coffee in a lovely bistro - it's years since we were in Portrush, but we were reminded of just why it's so popular, the beaches are amazing, huge long stretches of golden sand. 
We headed to Bushmills next, and we're just in time to join a tour of the distillery, Andy, the guide, was a mine of information! The end of the tour is in the bar, where a tot of whiskey is included..... and as we sipped our 12 year old single malt, the bride and groom from the wedding at Dunluce arrived! 
We've had the best day!
