The Father and the Assassin

We had theatre tickets booked this evening so we planned an easy day. Days never go as planned.
Off to Kingston to buy some socks. Graham insists on buying new walking shoes. What’s a girl to do! I need some too so two pairs of shoes.
Kingston Camera Club has a photography exhibition. It was lovely seeing Moni and Chris Kenward and lots of friends photos.
Back to the Airbnb and after lunch we both decided to try out our new shoes and have a rest before heading out for the evening.

I then had an email saying the show I had booked was cancelled because of “indisposition” of an actor.

Lots of discussion and reorganisation. A dreadful meal but an excellent interesting production of “the father and the assassin” about the murder of Gandhi.
