27 conkers

Matthew went out to post a letter for me, and detoured via the horse chestnut trees ar the end of the road, coming back with *27* conkers in his pockets. He tells me the one still in the shell was great because the spikes helped it hold all the others in so they didn't fall out. Brilliant.
