Bamburgh Castle

We enjoyed a road trip today
Left Edinburgh at 9 this morning and stopped off at North Berwick for coffee and a wander down to the harbour.
Saw the remains of what was an outdoor swimming pool which is now a boat store but you can still see the changing room doors. Took a pic for windychickens and emcoops who love outdoor swimming (extra)

Went to hubby’s beloved Canty Bay with its great views of the Bass Rock

Headed off to Bamburgh for lunch and visited the castle (main blip) before heading off to Alnwick where we’re staying in a lovely little cottage for a few days.
