Rock formations …

…in Monfrague National Park

We spent much of today in the park visiting areas we had seen a few days ago as well as several new ones. The rock formations in this area are striking and had many color variations, as you can see here. The intense green is mainly from lichens. Many griffon vultures were sweeping through the rocks, giving us excellent views but few decent photos, as they were moving very swiftly.
