Our unusually hot and dry weather continues for a few more days, when the temperatures drop to more seasonal temperatures, but there still isn’t much rain in the ten day forecast. So today the bike trail was calling again, and this time we headed south, starting from the Avoca trailhead and cycling down to Otto Armledder Park, around their 1.5 mile loop, and then back, for a total of just under 14 miles. Particularly in Otto Armledder Park, the Goldenrod was out in abundance, providing a happy home for pollinators, and a beautiful backdrop for us cyclists.
