Alaska
The snow clouds parted long enough this afternoon for us to glimpse Cape Lisburne, the northwesternmost point of land in the world as it is close to the date line. Rather amazingly, the first European to see it was Captain Cooke! I think the North West Passage is the only place I have ever been that he wasn't there first. Although we are at the same latitude as Oslo and the Shetlands, it is snowing again now.
In the extra! the crew wait for yet another safety drill, but nothing gets in the way of afternoon tea!
