Dutch Iris

This gorgeous Dutch Iris is growing in friend Dawn’s garden. She has a small area of garden full of lovely plants. This morning we drove into town to carry out some tasks and, very importantly, to vote. The General Election falls on Saturday the 14th of this month. Early voting started on Monday. We used the Polling Booth in the library. There was quite a large number of electoral staff there and plenty of people voting. We followed up with late morning tea in the library cafe. Nice food and lovely staff. This afternoon I took Maisie to Vet Marlborough for an Ear check. Thankfully her ears are now clear of a pesky yeast infection.
