People on their way to the Kiekkaaste.

The Kiekkaaste, near Nieuwstatenzijl, is the only bird hide outside the dike in the Netherlands and gives a good view of the mudflats of the Dollard. A good place to see hundreds of dunlin or other birds foraging on the mud. Sometimes fraternities are observed on the salt marshes.
