RIP Minnie

This is little Minnie . I took these photos when we visited last week before she started feeling unwell. Sadly she passed away yesterday morning. Farmer Conner and Rachel had looked after her over the weekend feeding her kitten milk and scrambled egg. She seemed to be getting better but unfortunately she started shivering again and then had a few seizures and did not recover. The Farmers could not have done anything else for her. The antibiotics had not worked so maybe there was an underlying condition. Possibly the adult meerkats picked up on something and that’s way they stopped looking after her. I guess we will never know.
