It's a lovely day, today

To be honest I mainly went out because I needed to, but down on the canal it was beautiful and balmy. What is wrong with the canal towpath, in my estimation, is that there are almost no benches to sit on. There is one a bit further down, but it’s too far away to be tempting. It would be nice if you could take your lunch and a bottle of beer down there, and watch the world go by. Perhaps they are worried about litter.
