Mrs Evil Goat

Charley

We've all been struggling without our little Pegster. Poor Alfie has been completely lost. We knew when we got him that our darling Pegs probably wouldn't be around for much longer and that he would always need a doggy friend to give him confidence, but I think we underestimated just how much he had bonded with her.

We wanted to wait a while to come to terms with losing Pegs, but Alf was just so listless and the house felt so empty it felt like the right thing to do to find him a friend. So this is Charley. He is a complete nutter and the best kind of therapy for us all. He's made himself right at home and we love him.

Since I last posted I also lost my dear Gran. She was a wonderful kind lady and I have lots of lovely memories of her knitting and chuckling away and sneaking sugar into our tea because she knew we weren't allowed it at home (no matter that we actually got so we did not like sugar in our tea!) and the mad Christmas pressies we used to get from her as kids. I just wanted to mention her on Blip.

There just has to be happier times ahead.
