The Mosses

I love this wood that runs alongside Lapwing Hall pool. I used to walk Mollie the Collie round the pool a lot for my friend before I had to go back to work 7 yrs ago. 
Still come down when I can and have a walk and watch the birdlife.
Yesterday there was a report of a Grey Phalarope on the pool so I came down with fingers crossed - and saw it! Major life tick (as the proper birders call it ;-) ).
