Who wants out!

The garden job progresses steadily. The base for the potting shed has been laid as a whole concrete slab and is drying nicely. It hasn’t rained today thank goodness.

A ton of topsoil has been laid along the new border by the wall, to provide something suitable for growing plants. The red Staffordshire clay that has been dug out was not the best of stuff. We thought that one ton would be sufficient, but we need another. 

I went out to do some grocery shopping down the road, then later on went to R’s to dig up the two roses that I bought in April and have been ‘parked’ in R & S’s garden awaiting their new residence. Whilst I was there I met up with the boys who were itching to get out to explore.
