Beryl

A train strike meant I had to switch to the buses to get into work. As a result I was staring out of the window along Kirkstall Road when this stencil street art mural came into view. I had never seen it before, but then I very rarely come that way.

The mural features the inspirational Leeds-born seven time world champion cyclist Beryl Burton (1937-1996), and was created by Bristol street artist Stewy for Le Grand Départ (2014).
