Thare are lots of these beasties around just now, which is a good thing as it is now full-on fly season. They're absolutely everywhere, shops, cafes, the house (despite mesh on every window and scrupulous rapid door-closing when going in or out). The dogs keep trying to catch them and we have slightly more success with an electric zapper we call Frank. You have to be of a certain age to get the reference.
