No longer purple….

but the different browns of the heather ensure the moor stays colourful. It was quite early and I thought the birds weren’t up but realise their winter song is whispered! A large flock of Longtailed tits flew into a Pine and Chaffinches joined Pipits in the fields. The Woodpeckers are still in the garden . The light is arriving later and not staying as long. It is cooler but calm and dry.
