Squirrels

I put a lightly crushed conker and heavily smashed hazelnuts and almonds, from an uneaten xmas gift, onto the patio. And they came and they stuffed their faces; brave Nik and two less adventurous squirrels didn’t appear to run back and forth to cache their findings this time.

Another jay sighting at Roundhay and one briefly landed in the tall Maple tree at the bottom of our garden today.

I’ll look out for and collect fallen acorns and conkers to put out in our garden to entice the Jay to stop by.

Unfortunately I think the squirrels will find them first!
