across the park

We had a joint optician’s visit this morning. He’s a good optician (optometrist I think) and I started going there years ago when I worked at Leicester University as the shop was a walk across the park and a few yards up Queens Road. Blip is the view across Victoria (Vicky) Park looking towards the University. The building in the centre is the Attenborough Tower and I used to work on the 17th floor with this wonderful view for many years. I had a lovely corner office with 2 windows.
Last year I didn’t need new glasses but they were recommended this year so I enjoyed choosing new frames whilst Mr I was having his test.
