Children's Book Week
This morning we celebrated the opening of the annual Children's Book Week, in which children's reading is central.
Because I belong to the Reading Promotion task group, I was closely involved in its organisation. The theme of this week is 'At my Place' and our subject is Pluk van de Petteflet, a children's book written by Annie M.G. Smidt from 1971.
The children from group 3 sang the song from the film version, we from the task group did a short play and the children from groups 6 from both schools did a dance at the end.
Everyone had a good time.
