Big Blue Tractor

John, in his lovely New Holland tractor with flail, and James, wielding his hedge-cutter, came to cut the roadside hedge today. The contractor who had been doing it for the past few years wasn't interested in doing any work on the nursery hedges. Consequently everywhere has become overgrown.

John and James were happy to tackle the thickets for me. They worked really hard all day. I'm so pleased that they've revealed the southern wall of number thirteen disused glasshouse where the jumping spiders live. They're under the oak tree dealing with Butterfly Alley in my image.
