Cheeky afternoon run

I actually managed to get a job finished without any hold ups today, and BivBov had kindly offered to collect the little man from school. This all meant I was able to pick up the big boy after his work at 5.30, so luckily I had some time to kill in the afternoon.
I took the opportunity to escape onto the Downs for a few miles.
This is the view from Mount Caburn near Lewes. I love it up there, looking down to the busy road below emphasises the contrast between the tranquility of spending time on the beautiful hills and the rat-race existing at ground level. It also serves as a reminder of how grateful I am still to be able to enjoy such moments.
