A rare trip into town to get my new iPhone from the Apple shop. It was such an easy and pleasant experience, thanks to the efficiency and friendliness of Anne Marie. Good customer service makes all the difference.

Since I was in town I thought I would check out the new extension to the National Gallery on the Mound and I was very impressed. It may have taken some time, but it’s worth it. 

I had a good look round and finished off my visit by looking at the Vermeer (one of 36 paintings on display - see extra). This is his only painting with biblical connections (Christ in the house of Martha and Mary, 1654).

Back home on the bus and now chilling.
