Woodland Floor Fungi

A grey damp day today. No views. A cloudy, but dry walk, through the wee woodlands near my house. In places the woodland floor was peppered with these small fungi.

The rain appeared after lunch, so the afternoon walk was a quick dash after it had stopped on tarmac paths. Didn't take the camera. Much too grim.
