Starting a Project 365
I've been inspired to start this project by taking part in a zoom by Ken Scott, who started a 365 in 2008 and is still going strong 15 years later. I'm slightly in two minds about this because I'm not sure if it's "me" or not, but as he said it's the best thing he's ever done for his photography, I thought I'd give it a go.
Because I have a lot of time to myself, I am quite "in-the-moment" anyway and I take photos most days (yesterday I exclaimed "Oh look!" to my baffled husband, jumped up, grabbed my camera and took a photo of the shadow of a plant on the wall).
Anyway, enough rambling on: I thought I'd use my photo-a-day as a sort of personal documentary of my life. I actually took two photographs: one of a lovely wild rose, which is covered in rosehips. But I chose this one because it is more connected to our lives. This time of year is the season of bounty, as we live in the country and grow a lot of veg in out garden, greenhouse and polytunnel. Yesterday my husband was digging up potatoes, and he left this basket artistically positioned (actually, unusually for him!) on the edge of one of the raised beds.
