Barnard Castle

Fourth castle in as many days!
Wonder if we can do 5 in a row!

Left Alnwick this morning and now in North Yorkshire with two other couples - our oldest friends who travelled down from Edinburgh for the weekend.

Stopped off at Barnard Castle on the way for a wander and a spot of lunch. Its castle is very much a ruin. Didn’t go in this one!

Staying somewhere near Richmond. Fab to be with our friends.
