The last of the sun!

I was at a meeting tonight in Penrith and, when we emerged around 9pm, we realised it had been raining. The first rain we have seen for what seems like a long time.

There wasn't much rain as I drove home and it was still warm, but the sky was an amazing shade of indigo and, as I watched the sun go down and the dark clouds move steadily in, I felt as though I was seeing the last of the sun for a while. Our lovely weather, which appears to have lasted here longer than elsewhere, was finally breaking. I'm not sure when we will see the sun again, but it has been glorious hasn't it.

So, not quite a sunset, but the last of the sun . . . for now!
