After the afternoon shower

This morning the weather forecast was "Chance of a shower this afternoon". I'd had my lunch and finished the last (24th) in the Inspector Slider series. One of the enjoyable aspects of the author's style is wordplay. Puns, double entendres and smart allusions. Before starting another book, I  took my camera and a 1 litre milk bottle and walked to the Woodlands Park Store.

On the way there I saw these roadside flowers, the photo of which is my blip for today. The numerous raindrops helps separate it from the grass behind.
