Roses

Most of the roses along the lake were done blooming but this cluster of flowers was hanging on. Perfect for Flower Friday. Thanks, Anni for continuing to host this challenge.

This afternoon Ellie's mom set up a meeting with her 3rd grade teacher...we reminisced about a time 21 years ago. I was a volunteer in that class because I wanted to help Neary adjust to school in America. This teacher took an interest in Neary and they wanted to meet up again today. It was a fun meeting after 21 years. Neary, Ellie's mom, found her on Facebook. 

Ellie has mixed feelings about her mom getting a job. She applied for and got a job today, she starts next week; the hours are 3PM to Midnight. Neary loves working those hours so she can sleep in, but it means she won't see Ellie at all from Monday through Friday. Not ideal for Ellie.
