Gear

As the Sun was in short supply today I thought I'd show you you what I take my Solar photos with. The scope on the left is a relatively inexpensive 127mm diameter job that has a ccd camera used in place of the eyepiece to send images directly to my laptop. The camera on the right is a Fuji HS10 bridge camera with a 30x zoom, this gets the full disc shots and the scope gets the close ups. This kit pales into insignificance when you look at JDGreenwood's entry for today! Especially when he has made all of his scope gear, including mount, optics and observatory himself! Awesome!!!
