Arctic autumn

We’re now approaching the town of Tromso, Norway’s ‘Arctic Capital’, well above the Arctic Circle at latitude 69.5 degrees north. Thanks to the warming influence of the Gulf Stream there is plenty of plant life which, in late October, is tinged with autumnal colour.
