All Saints' Day storm

We have had wind and rain. In the past the autumnal storms fell on the All Saints' Day week end. Still in the sixties Saturdays used to be workdays, so the All Saint's holiday meant a rare long week end. We used to go to our cottage on the island and enjoy the strong winds and foamy waves. The temperature was still summery and we went swimming in the waves. Today I am only watching it through the window, not even close to the coast.
