Head

This lady comes from Nigeria. She sits on a shelf in the sitting room (tonight's was the ultimate in lazy blips, shot from the sofa), and looks pretty haughty. I like the wood, how one side of her face is light and the other dark.

Work is proving rather a trial at the moment - another colleague of many years is leaving, not going far, but still it's sad (for me - he is happy about it, obviously). I spent two hours this morning being patronised by a youth. I was very restrained, but I very much resented the 'We're all happy idiots together' approach. I am not an idiot, and I wasn't very happy.
